The best hair growth treatments to help reduce excessive hair shedding in summer season

Seasonal hair loss is a lot more common than many people think. Nearly all of us experience seasonal hair loss phases, but very few of us notice it. In some cases, seasonal shedding can be quite excessive, and although it is usually a temporary phase, treatments are sometimes necessary, to minimise hair fall.

In this article, we look at five key non-medical hair growth treatments that can help reduce the effects of excessive shedding, and support the function of healthy hair growth.

So, in no particular order, here are the most effective hair growth treatments for summer season hair loss, in women…

HR23+® Hair Growth Supplement

Scandinavian Biolabs Hair Growth Serum

Scandinavian Biolabs have been making some waves in recent times, and that’s particularly down to their Hair Growth Serum. This natural solution for hair loss contains key active ingredients that can help stimulate younger cells to develop.

Around 80% of female users have experienced some improvement in their hair from using this serum, and because it is a non-medical solution, it is safe to use, and will not damage your strands. This is extremely important during summer shedding – try to avoid any medical treatments like minoxidil.

Nioxin SPF System 4 Scalp Treatment Serum

Summer season can be pretty harsh on the hair strands, so it is more important than ever to keep your hair protected and hydrated. Pick a good SPF serum or cream that will protect your hair from damage caused by the sun’s harmless rays.

Nioxin’s System 4 Leave-In Scalp & Hair Treatment helps refresh the scalp and increase the volume of the hair. This volumising leave-on treatment foam helps to provide thicker-looking hair by increasing the fullness of each hair strand. It also protects the hair, and keeps it hydrated, which is perfect for summer.

OGX Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen Shampoo

Biotin and collagen are key components for hair growth. Nearly all hair loss treatments contain biotin (vitamin B7), due to its cell growth properties. Without biotin and collagen, the hair would struggle to grow. That’s why OGX’s Biotin & Collagen shampoo is a good solution.

Shampoos do not treat hair loss, however, they can give your hair the vital nutrients needed to grow. Using this shampoo 2-3 times a week will give your hair that extra boost of nutrients and volume that it needs in order to thrive throughout the summer months. It also works well in conjunction with the other treatments mentioned in this article.

Himalaya Herbals Protein Hair Cream

Himalaya Protein Hair Cream nourishes, strengthens, and softens the strands. The protein rich Chickpea adds durability to the hair, and Amla is known to promote healthy hair growth.

If you’re looking for extra hair nourishment during the summer shedding phase, then be sure to get yourself a good protein hair cream – it can make a huge difference.

Some good ones there, HR23+ was the most effective for me, started seeing results in my hair within a few weeks. I’d highly recommend that one. The Nioxin serum is also quite good.
